Come and join the 2nd Inahgen (International Animal Health Genetics and Nutrition Congress), The Asean Farmers Congress. This will be held on February 27, 28, 29, 2008 at SM X Convention Center, the country's newest and largest exhibition and convention center occupying 9,130 square meters located in SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.
Inahgen 2008 is the Philippines largest and most prestigious agribusiness exhibition, this will be participated in by livestock and poultry industry leaders from the Philippines and from around the world. The event was primary conceptualized with strong focus on the swine and poultry industries; considered as highly significant subsectors of the Philippine agriculture. The trade show will showcase the latest trends and innovations in livestock and poultry products, information, services and equipment. There will be focus on animal health, genetics, and nutrition. Invited conference and seminar speakers will talk about latest research, commercial findings, breeding technologies, medications, and other interesting topics in a world class seminar area. This well-attended bi-annual event provides excellent business and networking opportunities and will also feature educational programs, farmers meeting, linkages among major industry players here and abroad and will culminate in a world-class live boar auction sale and live animal display.
INAHGEN 2008 promises to be bigger and more exciting.more than double the exhibition floor space, more exhibit booths. The first congress held in August 2006 was participated by twenty eight (28) foreign exhibitors, eighty two (82) local exhibitors, with a total of 135 exhibit booths and attended by more than 10,000 visitors.
